Bridal beauty,

Everything you need to know about reserving your Kansas City hair and makeup team, planning your preview, and preparing for the wedding morning.
01How far in advance should I book bridal hair and makeup?
+
Most brides reserve their glam team 9–12 months before the wedding. Popular Kansas City dates and peak-season weekends can fill earlier, so we recommend inquiring as soon as your date and venue are confirmed.
02Do you provide both bridal hair and makeup?
+
Yes. Fix Beauty Co. provides bridal hair, bridal makeup, and coordinated services for wedding parties. You may reserve one service or both, based on availability and artist minimums.
03Do you travel to Kansas City wedding venues?
+
Yes. Our artists provide on-location services throughout Kansas City, Leawood, Overland Park, and surrounding areas. Destination wedding services are also available. Travel is $1 per mile, per artist, beyond 15 round-trip miles.
04What is required to reserve my wedding date?
+
A $250 non-refundable reservation fee secures your date and is applied toward your bridal preview. Your proposal outlines the services, location, timing, payment schedule, and terms we can guarantee.
05When should I schedule my bridal preview?
+
Bridal previews are typically scheduled four to six months before the wedding. Each preview includes one look per reserved service and generally lasts 1.5–2 hours.
06Is there a wedding-day service minimum?
+
Each artist requires a minimum of four wedding-day services. If an artist is needed for fewer than four services, a $125 artist fee applies.
07Can I change my service count, location, or timing?
+
You may submit a change request at any time, but approval depends on artist availability, timing, location, and your contract. Weddings from April–June and September–November require 12 weeks’ notice. Weddings in other months require three weeks’ notice.
08How is the wedding-morning timeline created?
+
We begin drafting your beauty timeline two to three months before the wedding, complete a three-week check-in, and finalize the schedule with the details needed for your bride, artists, and wedding vendors.
09Is gratuity required?
+
For groups of four or more, gratuity is required and added to the final invoice. Brides select 10%, 15%, or 20% or more for the glam team.
10Can wedding-party members request Hollywood waves?
+
Hollywood waves require approximately 1.5 hours and must be scheduled in advance. They are not available as a day-of wedding-party style unless specifically included in the timeline.
